Adelina Fabiano

Counsellor, MA, MEd, BEd, BFA

I come to counselling through a long path shaped by education, psychology, and years of working closely with children, adults, and families. My work focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, stress, emotional challenges, trauma, and periods of transition, especially when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.

My approach is informed by my training in counselling psychology and developmental psychology, as well as my background in education and the arts. I value therapy that is thoughtful, collaborative, and respectful of each person’s pace. Sessions are shaped around the client’s lived experience, personal history, and goals, with attention to both emotional wellbeing and practical coping.

I have worked in helping and educational roles for over two decades, supporting people across different life stages and circumstances. This experience has given me a strong appreciation for how early development, family dynamics, creativity, and identity shape the way we relate to ourselves and others.

As a first-generation Italian-Canadian, I am attentive to cultural context, intergenerational experiences, and questions of belonging. As part of the Canadian branch of the Advanced Psychology Institute, I offer virtual counselling services to clients across Canada where permitted.
