Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MACP Candidate
I work with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about the next chapter of their lives. Whether you are navigating stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, cultural expectations, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I strive to create a space where you can feel supported, respected, and understood.
My approach to counselling is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. I believe meaningful change begins when individuals feel safe enough to explore their experiences openly and without judgment. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I work with clients to identify their strengths, build self-awareness, and develop practical ways of moving toward the life they want to create.
Before entering the field of counselling psychology, I spent more than fifteen years working in healthcare settings, including rehabilitation, geriatrics, and cardiology. These experiences taught me the importance of viewing people as whole individuals rather than a collection of symptoms or challenges. They also deepened my appreciation for resilience, compassion, and the powerful role that supportive relationships play in overall well-being.
Having lived and worked within diverse communities, I am particularly mindful of the cultural, family, and social factors that shape each person's experience. I am fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, and I enjoy working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, connected to their strengths, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
As part of the Advanced Psychology Institute, I provide virtual counselling services under clinical supervision throughout the US and Canada.
